The spacious rooms were a pleasant surprise, providing plenty of room to unpack. A delightful breakfast selection awaited each morning, featuring fresh pastries and quality coffee. Plus, the friendly staff always went the extra mile, helping us feel at home.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which really

made our stay enjoyable. The hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere, and the free transport to Lucerne was a great perk. However, the noise from the nearby road was noticeable at times, especially without air conditioning.

I had difficulty due to the noise from the busy road, which made it hard to sleep. Additionally, the storage space in the room was quite limited, making it challenging to unpack comfortably. Despite the hotel being a short walk from the train station, it was not very convenient, especially with heavy luggage.

The walk from the train station to the hotel felt easy at just about 10 minutes. The room's spaciousness impressed me, especially for the area. I loved the variety offered at breakfast, with plenty of choices from meats to pastries. Having a free local transport pass was a huge plus, as it made traveling into Luzern simple. The jacuzzi bath in the room was a delightful surprise and added a touch of luxury to my stay. Unfortunately, the room lacked adequate storage space and had only one electrical outlet, which made charging devices a bit of a hassle. The noise from the road was noticeable, especially with the windows open since there was no air conditioning. I wished for a bit more privacy as the layout seemed to lack soundproofing, also making it hard to have a restful sleep. Despite these issues, the friendly staff made the check-in and stay enjoyable, showing willingness to assist whenever needed.

Noise pollution from the busy road makes it hard to sleep!!! Unattended reception after hours leads to inconvenient late arrivals!!! Basic room furnishings need an upgrade!!!

thorenberg is in a lovely countryside location, making it easy to catch the train with the free local transit pass provided. the breakfast had excellent choices, and the management's offer to drive us to the train station on our departure day was particularly thoughtful.
